Comparisons between Singapore Food Festival 2012 VS Previous Years

In comparison to last year, besides the different themes that the Singapore Food Festival has each year, one of the changes that have taken place would be the venue of the event. For all the previous years, Singapore Food Festival would usually be held at Clarke Quay Read Bridge and alone the Central River Promenade.

However, for this year's Singapore Food Festival 2012, the event is held at a brand new location at the Waterfront Promenade at Marina Bay.

With the change in venue, the number of participating stalls in this event has increased from a number of 30 stalls to 50 stalls at the Singapore Food Festival Village. This also means that there will be a more variety of food that the public can have the chance to savour and taste.

Apart from the relocation to a larger venue, another change that have taken place this year as compared to the previous years would be the event's operating hours. The operating hours for the Singapore Food Festival used to be from 4pm to 11pm every Monday to Friday, while 12pm to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.

However this year, the operating hours for this event has been extended till 11am to 11pm daily. The extension of the timing shows that this event has received overwhelming responses from over the years. Therefore, Singapore Food Festival can leverage on this opportunity to attract more visitor ship by gettin gmore vendors to showcase their food.
